Wonder Workshop 2017

I attended The Wonder Workshop created by Cassie and Natalie in 2017. It’s only taken me a few years to finally get these images up on my blog but hey, better late than never! This workshop was just amazing as everyone involved and I came out with the most amazing portfolio and head full of knowledge. If you are ever interested in a workshop, for the business side of things or to learn more about photography… hit these ladies up! Their IG is @thewonderworkshop and they are about to host their 3rd workshop (which I am trying to win a seat in haha)!

New York, NY

This year I finally crossed off a huge goal on my list. New york! I’ve always loved everything I read or saw of New York since a little girl. When I was in middle school I decided I wanted to be a fashion designer living in NY. Well life happened, married and raising four kids later haha. However this year my husband randomly booked me a flight to JFK for a week and it was amazing! Just me, on my own, a week in the city of my dreams! I had an adorable Airbnb right near Central Park at 59th and 5th. I left all the windows open every night with a box fan in one of the bedroom windows. THE SOUNDS OF THE CITY AT NIGHT BEATS ANYTHING I’VE EVER HEARD! I expected loud and lots of honking and actually there wasn’t much honking and the subtle run of all the a/c units. I now listen to a youtube video of this sound at night!

The city blew me away. I walked all of Central Park and the MET. Then I met a friend in SOHO (walked there as well) for Ice Cream at Black Tap! I then rode the subway home. Thank you NY for not letting me down at all!
