I have never taken school dance photos and decided to go into this like I would a wedding and eliminate the mushy gushy stuff. I kept wanting to look for her flowers to hold and had to remind myself they were young kids and didn’t need to “lean in for a kiss”. Definitely something I wasn’t used to but I loved it! They look amazing and I wonder where the awkward high school stage went that we all had to go through… they will be seniors next year and look way better than I ever did! Big thanks to his mother (my oldest son’s grandma… or honey as he calls her) for reaching out to me asking to do these for them!
Andrea is the owner and photographer of Andrea Elizabeth Photography in the DFW. She is also someone super special to me, teaching me almost everything I know about the wedding business and most importantly being a really awesome friend. You will always find me second shooting for her if I am not at a wedding of my own. I took these a while back with her now fiance Aaron. She is such a beautiful woman I had to steal a few portraits of only her!
Wait… what free time? It is almost non-existent in our lives. This little princess has kept us on the edge of sanity for 16 months now. We don’t have date nights or time to ourselves. When we are alone we are working. I’m super lucky that her dadda has given me the opportunity to do what I love and supports us through everything. If I am honest, I’m posting this picture as part of Jasmine Star’s Instagram challenge and I am supposed to share my free time and how it makes me happy. Her falling asleep is my peaceful time. I mean honestly… shes screaming as I type this out! 🙂
